The C-Box

The C-Box is a place where those who wish to engage into conversation with one another may occur in order to wait out for others to post. This place is also used to allow people to interact with one another in conversations of Out of Character. The C-Box however is somewhat limited and because of that there is different rules and standards of the C-Box. Some rules may be similar to that of the Forum, while others are quite different. The most different part however of the C-Box is that of the punishments when breaking or disregarding the rules. There is a lot of problems that may occur within the C-Box and these problems will be addressed accordingly.

:::C-Box Privladges:::
As everyone should know the C-Box is a privilege. Privileges may be taken away at any time if their is probable cause. There are certain things that the users is capable of doing within the C-Box and this is what keeps things in order, and fun within the C-Box. People may engage in conversations with one another, discuss, talk, and just have fun. It is basically a chat where people may talk with one another in a kind way.

:::Four Primary Rules of Cbox:::
    First Rule: Please do not post any pornographic links, advertisements, or pictures within the C-Box.

    Second Rule: No Baiting, No Flaming, No Antagonizing, No Spamming, No Changing of Font Size or Color and No Fighting.

    Third Rule: Absolutely no advertising within the C Box, failure to do so will result to a perma band. If you wish to advertise please look into the affiliation boards. Same rule applies to pm advertisements.

    Fourth Rule: Please do not ask Mods to check Posts, Customs, Training, or Submissions in the Cbox. Please PM a moderator. Thank you.


:::Rules of the C-Box Closer Look:::
  • No Flaming: Do not seek to insult, deride or lambast other members; even a flame that you mean as a joke will not be accepted, unless it's obvious to all the other users reading your post that it's not intended to attack or offend. If you are flamed, then contact a staff member and they will deal with it - do not retaliate. There are three classifications of flaming; unintended (where you did not even mean to insult the other user), minor (where you insult the other user on the spur of the moment without thinking) and major (where it's clear you are calmly trying to cause maximum distress to someone else).

  • No Baiting: Do not treat people in a manner intended to anger or upset them. If you feel you are being baited, then first ask them to stop (NEVER react with a flame). If they continue, then contact a member of staff. A throwaway comment or a small amount of disrespect only turns into a bait when they continue after you ask them to stop. Sometimes a bait can also be a flame; if this is the case, then report it to the mod immediately rather than giving a warning not to do it. Very obvious baits also do not need warnings.

  • No Drama Whoring: You must keep harmful personal stuff OFF the boards. Do NOT seek to maliciously turn opinion within the community against another member, or seek to utterly discredit members you dislike, be it through truths or rumors.

  • No Harassment: If someone asks you to stop contacting them over private messenger, then you must abide by this request, or this is private harassment. Also, if someone asks you to leave them alone, stop speaking with them, then you should do so. If not then this is considered to be Harassment.

  • No Trolling or Neo-Trolling: Trolling means deliberately seeking to cause damage to the community. Neo-trolling is another variant of this whereby you try to cause damage without making it seem like actual trolling (ie: subtle and intelligent trolling).
      1. Maliciously exploiting 'loop holes' in the rules.
      2. Seeking to constantly or massively undermine staff.
      3. Massively or constantly publicly attacking the forum or how it is run on sites both associated and unassociated with the forum.
      4. Privately plotting to cause problems on the forum.
      5. Maliciously breaking rules.
      9. No hacking, or issuing hack threats: This carries an ban.
      10. Respect the mods: If a mod tells you to quit doing something, then please listen to them. While what they ask for may not make sense to you, it will make sense to everyone else who want what's best for the forum. If you are unhappy with a mod, then do not make a public protest thread, but PM an admin with the complaint and we will deal with it if necessary. You should have enough respect for mods and the time which they put in to be able to trust their judgment and the job that they do.


  • No Changes of Font: There will be no changes in font. No Large Lettering, no small lettering, no Bright colors shall be brought into the C-Box.

  • No Spamming: Spamming is when you use multiples of a character in chat, multiple punctuation etc. Repeating the entire lyrics of a song or flooding chat with random characters. Often times this leads to Trolling and Flaming

    • Bad Situation
      Newbie- HI! um, im new, i dont do this kind of stuff alot, can someone tell me where to post and stuff.

Ok newbie, dont worry bout these guys, im here to help you out. Forget those rules, long list of nonsense i say, you'll figure things out pretty easily, im here to help you mkay

    In Short - Don't Spam. Do not oppress against the higher ups. Do not Go against the Higher Ups. If you do not like the rules do not come.


:::Disciplinary Rules:::
There are going to be multiple people that can access the C-box, these people will not be known and these people will not parade around stating that they can go into the C-Box. If they are ever caught doing this, they will not have their password and the password will change.

    Verbal Warning: You get a verbal warning. One verbal warning, no other warnings. If you do not comply with it then it gets worse.

    Hour Chill Pill You get an hour Chill Pill if you do not stop. An hour chill pill is that you loose the ability to speak in the C-Box for one hour.

    Day Chill Pill If you come back within the Hour and you continue to act up. You loose a Day in the C-Box.

    Permanent: Sometimes Rules in the C-Box resets itself but if you continue to become a problem within the C-Box multiple times, then you may be banned from the C-Box permanently and you will receive warnings in your Forum Profile.

    Deletion of Posts: There are times where there may be deletion of posts. This is to be done to ensure no problems will be caused.
